| Character Background: | Anja grew up in a poor family with her identical twin, Astrid. Their father is a fisherman, who is usually gone trying to earn a living on the Arctic seas. Their mother had a very hard time taking care of the home, and the two daughters were often left to themselves. They did not have many friends, and developed a strong attachment to each other. They were always getting into trouble--and out of it--together. They have grown up to be very naive about some things. They still do not part easily. Anja plays the synthesizer with her twin in their music duo, Techno Tvillingene (or the Norske Techno Twins). She began performing with her sister, and they recently signed a record deal, which is rumored to have been negotiated by Carmen Sandiego. They have had many early successes. |
| Personality: | Anja is strange, but she is very very kind and excessively generous to everyone. She can become very excited and emotional. She likes to hug all nice people she meets. Overall, she just wants to love and be loved. She is rarely found without her twin sister Astrid. Anja likes to invent her own crazy fashions, and her wardrobe features a very unique collection. She gets very excited about music, and she is very fun to watch in performance. However, she becomes so immersed when playing music that she is loses awareness of her surroundings. |
