This picture is a semi-remake, or more of an 'inspired by' picture to the one that Dax Taylor drew a while back (see here: http://kyranthia.net/daxcarm2.jpg).
Technique is plain desaturation, and limiting the swatches to greens/blues and orange. Don't remember how long it took, more than 5 hours, less than 14?
