[In the streets of New York City, Greg walks toward Kaufman Astoria Studios]
Greg: It was Wednesday, 8:33am. A lot of citizens were doing some post-Christmas shopping. Guess their loved ones didn't like their gifts. I was working the day watch out of ACME Crime Net. I just woke up to a very important phone call from the Chief. My name is Lee. I'm Senior Agent. Maybe until now.
[He enters the studio; cut to the Chief's office; the Chief is looking through her papers]
[KNOCK ON DOOR!]
Chief: Come in.
[Greg enters the office]
Greg: Good morning, Chief. You wanted to see me?
Chief: Oh, yes, Greg. You see, you've been at Senior Agent for 9 years. Well, not all in a row, from the 13 years of cancellation. 5 years of our original show, 4 years of our new show. You've done a wonderful job here.
Greg: Uh-oh. They're not firing you and making me the new Chief, are they?
Chief: Nope.
Greg: [sighs] Thank goodness.
Chief: After all these years, it's time to promote you from Senior Agent... to Captain!
Greg: Captain?! Chief, you serious?
Chief: Dead serious.
[She extracts a captain's badge with two gold bars and the ACME logo above them; she hands it to Greg]
Greg: [puts on the badge] I don't believe it!
Chief: You see, with 2012 underway, there's gonna be a few changes around here. We're gonna expand all offices, and our singers, who are now detectives for this organization, will be armed with new transportation.
Greg: That's a wonderful idea, Chief. And thank you very much for this promotion.
[He and the Chief shake hands]
Chief: Now, as captain, I want you to make sure all your new recruits are well-trained. But don't supervise with an iron fist.
Greg: Trust me, Chief. There is no iron fist in this organization. I'll be as well-behaved as I was as Senior Agent.
Chief: See that you do, Greg. Now go away.
Greg: Yes, ma'am.
[He exits the office]
Chief: His promotion was long overdue.
[Back to HQ; Greg walks up to his desk]
Greg: Well, there goes my nameplate.
[He removes the nameplate: "Senior Agent Greg Lee", and replaces it with "Captain Greg Lee"; he takes his seat]
Greg: I never thought I'd see the day. Captain Greg Lee.
[He opens up the ACME Crime Net laptop computer, opens up the Internet, logs onto Facebook, and posts a message to his wall:]
Greg: [in his mind] The Chief just got me promoted to Captain in Charge of Training New Recruits. I've waited years for this honor. And you're not gonna believe the changes coming to ACME.
[He continues typing]
==========================================
I figured that now was the perfect time to give Greg a big promotion. After 4 years of doing the new show, it's time to upgrade his status from Senior Agent to Captain.

And I say it's time to merge the weekend version of the show into the daytime show. The singers are now detectives. They got themselves a high paying job! And I upgraded my status from song parody identifier/producer for weekend version to a consultant for the show. Every show is now done by Greg. No more guest hosts. An ACME International Tournament is planned in the summer following the Tournament of Sleuths.

And speaking of the Tournament of Sleuths, I have a different format in mind.
Over the course of a week, 15 Sleuths will compete. Some are the biggest winners, some are those who captured Carmen Sandiego in the shortest amount of time. The winning Gumshoe of the day will establish how fast he/she can capture Carmen on the Map, with the 10-in-60-seconds rule on all Maps. After the first is established, the remaining Sleuths will attempt to beat that time. The fastest time of the week captures Carmen Sandiego and wins the grand prize:
$100,000, 5 trips to anywhere around the globe, the Tournament of Sleuths trophy, and a promotion to Super Sleuth.

Great Work, Mr. Casiano and Mr. Mann, It's Official the Weekend Version of the Show has been merged into the daytime show so the following singers will go double duty for they Daytime and Nighttime Version
Rockapella (our flagship group), Duelapella and Digipella but we didn't get permission yet to Duelapella GX and Pokepella but they will be coming later in 2012, as for the Disney Groups (Oliverpella and Hoodapella) and Heavenapella they will not be taking part on the Nighttime Version so instead i can draft Female Fashion Models (usually Amateur or Not) to be used as acapella groups and i want to see Tiffany Coyne, Amber Lancaster and Rachel Reynolds sing probably later this season!
