So I'm new here and I'm itching to get into some RPs; unfortunately getting into the main ones that are going on now doesn't seem possible (both because my character doesn't work well if he starts in the middle and because I'm not comfortable doing it), so I figured I'd host my own RP and was wondering if there where any ACME detectives who would be interested in trying to stop me. I'll probably try to steal a painting in Luxembourg or San Francisco  simply because I'd probably have a large audience in either place.

So... Yeah... Anyone interested?

Hello and welcome!  You can start a new RP virtually anywhere, there's no need to choose places where agents are active. Like, I'm in Canada right now, but I can also be in another RP with you and say they're separate events.  

I chose those places more because my character's a showoff  and pulling something like what I have planed directly under ACME and/or VILE's collective noeses sounds fun, that said Hong Kong, Venice,  or maybe some were in Spain all seem viable. I probably wont finalise anything until more people say they're interested. 

Heh well I'm glad to hear that. So glad in fact that I'll make this boast: not only will this crime be unlike anything that goes on here (assuming the crimes here are like the ones in the cartoon), but by the end I will make ACME literaly hand me the target.

Depending on availability, Mr. Rose, we engage approximately three to seven participants on average.  For faster games such as The Blue Moon Masquerade, we may reach up to fifteen.  If you're still lacking players, may I suggest partnering with another V.I.L.E. agent, or cooperating with an ACME agent to create the story?

I would be happy to have you Chippy. As for for getting another person to coordinate with, I'd be perfectly happy having an acme agent to work with (it probably wouldn't be fair if I was left controlling the police ), but I have a rather specific plan for what I'll be doing and while it would benefit from cohorts I highly doubt anyone would be happy playing the available roles (if you are interested anyways pm and I'll give you an idea of what I'm planning).

Right so I started this over a week a go and haven't gotten many players so I'm wondering if I should just start it, Ive decided to leave this up to you two. I will say that while I originally wanted one or two more people they aren't necessary, and this should be a fairly short rp (but it will be the start of a much larger series of thefts).

Actually here's a question for you:  is Rose considered a new thief or has he done this before?  Would his announcing his crime in a newspaper be a telltale or is he too new to have a telltale?

He has done this before, but he has only just gotten to the point where he'll be recognised. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by tell tale.

I totally didn't notice this OOC thread before but I'm definitely interested if people are up to continuing the RP. I'm trying to get my feet wet with this character and am somewhat of a newbie, but if you'll have me... I'm there.

As far as I'm concerned any one is welcome to join if they get in before the theft starts (pm me if you want to start after).

Not to be rude but the rps been going a bit slow, so I figured I'd ask if you guys needed a hint, or if there's just rl circumstances causing the slowdown.
