[ Chase ]: What do you write about?
[ LadyLoralye ]: I'm actually writing a novel about witches.
[ Chase ]: Witches? That's different.
[ LadyLoralye ]: It is a little strange at first, but I really enjoy my characters.
[ Chase ]: Sounds like fun, I don't know much about witches, but sounds like fun.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: witches?
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: rreminds me of the days when buffy the vampire slayer was on TV
[ Zack ]: and wizards!
[ Zack ]: (Don't get me started on Buffy- one of my profs is A HUGE fan!)
[ LadyLoralye ]: That was about vampire and cheerleaders Danny.
[ Zack ]: (I already want the "Then Buffy staked Edward. The End" t-shirt)
[ LadyLoralye ]: (You did not just say that!)
[ Carmen ]: (Mm, please, let's not speak of "Buffy".)
[ Chase ]: I missed the whole Buffy era, sorry... too busy painting back then.
[ Eartha-Brute ]: LOL
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: (I haven't seen that shirt, I've seen the blade kills edward one though.)
[ LadyLoralye ]: I will admit to being a Buffy fan. I love watching re-runs
[ Eartha-Brute ]: Buffy was great! Nice novelty to watch again and again. :)
[ Chase ]: heh heh
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: I don't remember much about Buffy
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: I could count the episodes I've watched on two fingers
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: anyway, it does remind me a bit of this VILE/ACME universe
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: the absurdities and all
[ Eartha-Brute ]: You make the weirdest connection, funny detective with glasses.
[ LadyLoralye ]: Absurdities? Do elaborate.
[ Chase ]: Funny 'Sleuth' with glasses... he hasn't taken the detective exam yet.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: Thanks Earth.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: right, call that one out, boss. why you gotta be so hard on everyone?
[ Carmen ]: Mm, emphatically. Why?
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: Absurdities... like you know, the crazy far fetched characters mingling with us mere mortals
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: Large green haired bodybuilders, an internation theif who can steal rivers, and genetically mutated girls
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: that kind of thing
[ Chase ]: ...so ACME's the 'mere mortals' in this comparison?
[ LadyLoralye ]: I don't think it's that far fetched.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: no? do you know any genetically mutated wolf raised girls?
[ LadyLoralye ]: Maybe...
[ Eartha-Brute ]: *shifts glances*
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: ACME has... less er... colorful, people
[ LadyLoralye ]: AKA boring
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: I mean, me, Nev, Wes... Hobbes... we're the average ACME guy
[ Carmen ]: We have vastly different HR qualifications.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: true that
[ Chase ]: heh heh
[ Chase ]: Yeah... we don't exactly look for guys like Vic the Slick... even his type is a little less than average for us.
[ Chase ]: We need average... pure and simple.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: We look for Jonathan Smith
[ LadyLoralye ]: Lame!
[ LadyLoralye ]: ACME needs more diversity
[ Eartha-Brute ]: Ya, Lame!
[ Chase ]: We're happy where we are... at least 9 languages is spoken at head quarters every day.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: To be fair, ACME does have that multicultral thing going for us. (which comes from the cartoons)
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: Yeah that.
[ Chase ]: We're just not very... eccentric.
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: Meaning you can keep your costumes...
[ DetectiveAwesome ]: except for El Halcon.
[ LadyLoralye ]: eccentric is a good thing...most of the time
[ Chase ]: Who's really just the average Mexican mask-wearing Lucador.
[ Carmen ]: Mm, most of the time.
[ Carmen ]: Eccentricity is also rather entertaining.
[ LadyLoralye ]: That's for sure
[ Chase ]: Agreed... ACME is very entertained by VILE.
[Neutral Grounds]: DetectiveAwesome has left at 1:07 pm
[ Carmen ]: It seems your only supporter has left.
[ Chase ]: Figures, right? Heh heh.
