B'fore we start, Ken & I was talkin ooc about a new RP game about something in a huge exotic, busy city like Shanghai or Macau.

Both ACME and VILE can join in this RP, everyone suggest a city now. When we all agree on a smokin' city, I write first RP post. Capice?

Yeahum, Ivy's good, let's do a-one of them informal votes. Game starts coming Saturday/Sunday, choose from a city you want above then write it down below in a post. If yer don't care, don't vote, know what I mean? In the end, I'm putting this thread in a text parser and the city name that comes up the most wins.

Al'rite, players, I want each character joining to have one goal in mind that everyone knows about OOC. Start discussing what you want in this thread with other players.

Example, I want Vic to show his scheming side but my main goal some point is to show he's a coward. Knowing this, other players in the game can help me put Vic on the spot.

I don't want to see goals that involve other characters like "I want to arrest Carmen Sandiego" or "I want Ken U Belevitt to fall heads over heals in love with me". No, ain't gonna happen without consent.

I'll repost the writing above on the first post of the main RP game. Probably good to leave one thread for discussions, one for game play.

For now, I need a good name or two for some fictional casinos and other establishments. Gonna be mixing real places with fake places so we have more creative control, ah?

first of all the OOC part of this thread is getting real long. I think in the future we should post a discussion like this in "Idle things" before we start an RP in in this section.

Just a suggestion, but given what has been said so far this is what I can think of doing: VILE is in the area casing a theft of an item for Carmen. While Vic is playing the slots on his own he gets coered by Lee Jordan into helping him steal the casino's bankroll. Since Vic more used to Carmen's way of theft, in this situation he's basically helpless. Meanwhile, the other VILE agents slowly get involved and scramble to either protect or save Vic from Lee. ACME will be on the chase as always.

For the longest time I've been trying to get Ken to hack into a location's local computer network as an excuse to start a clue-finding game I've invented. In this thread I'd like to do it using Macau Tower, which is both a communications tower and entertainment venue.

For a casino name, consider Chinese good luck symbols: Buddha, Yuan Coins (Against illness), Butterfly (For love), Goldfish, and the goddess Kwan Yin, who incidentally also has a giant staue in Macau. That's likely why it's such a gambling hub.
