Isn't it funny how life will pull us all away from our hobbies and then reunite us at around the same time?

In my case it was a toss-up between chasing a tiny human around the house, web work, and writing the script for my new comic project. The baby and web work remain, but the script is done.

Even though I've mounted a fundraising campaign for that (which can be found here), I will have a bit of free time that I can use to reaquiant myself with this site.

I'll probably lurk for a little while before jumping in on threads though. I don't know why, but I like to read up on everything before I post.

Just got back home from the hospital and I have some time while she's sleeping...

I'd like everyone to meet my precious little girl! She's also the reason I won't be online for a while.

Her name is Ivy, but coincidental as it is, She is not named after any character. She's named for her Father's silly sense of associative humor (My name is Heather, so he wanted a plant name for her as well. :P)

I often cause confusion on sites that I RP on due to the characters that I play, so I thought that I would clear up things before they got nuts here as well:

My name is Heather. I don't really believe in basing characters off of myself, so I tend to play all sorts of different kinds of characters... including male characters, which is the biggest source of confusion. The second source of confusion is that I'm married and because of this I tend to not flirt online AT ALL. I will however happily jump into conversations about farts and toilet humor.

I am the administror for another Carmen Sandiego fansite, but I cannot really take credit for that site's existance as I only make sure that it doesn't explode. Role-playing there, however, is how I ended up here. I have fun either way, so there's no rivalry between VILEeheadquarters.com. and Carmensandiego.info. :)

My truely big online thing is my online comics studio. One of the comics, "Sivoa" is where the character of "Flag" originated from. Liz, the briliant writer behind Agent Mayhem is also an author there for the upcoming issues of "May Contain Science" listed there. My online presence might vanish for a little while in the near future because I'm due to give birth to a little girl on July 27th. Most babies never pay attention to their due date and arrive whenever they feel like it, so I thought that I would put a disclaimer up here regarding that.

That should pretty much cover things. I'm looking forward to doing many more thing in-character here so I just wanted to get all of that out of the way. :)
