Tech Support Tips
ACME may be a top-class organization, but that doesn't mean that some fellow desk jockeys have some lapses in knowledge when it comes to technology. Here are a few reminders:
- The CD drive in your computer was not built as a cupholder. Only CDs go in the CD tray.
- Likewise, the floppy drive is not a credit card reader.
- The mouse works best if it's kept on a horizontal surface; it's not a Wii Remote.
- The computer is the gray tower-like thing. The thing with the pictures on it is the monitor.
- Last but not least, if your computer is smoking or on fire, stop what you're doing, unplug the equipment, and call the fire department immediately! Don't worry about saving or proper shutdown procedures!

By NinaWest 1182 Days AgoI got another one: Mousepad ain't no coaster!
By Nevon 1183 Days AgoTrue story, my computer once started smoking. Turns out my graphics card got so hot, it burned a cord. Luckily, nothing was seriously damaged. *grin*
By Gesa 1184 Days AgoHehehe, I love this list! I'm going to turn on my gray tower thingy now and watch youtube on the thing with the pictures on it. :)
By Miss_Guided 1185 Days AgoUmmmm... Chip, I appreciate your work, you know that you've fixed my computer enough times for me to do so. But is a statement this obvious necessary?
By DetectiveAwesome 1185 Days AgoIf we can't use the CD drives, where do we keep our cans while searching Crime Net?
