Many a casefile's details contain her signature for one who would take the time to observe rather than merely see, yet the only identifiable account of her actions outside of the musical realm was penned by one Dr. John Watson, whom Irene held considerably enough leverage over to ensure the contents were edited to her liking. As such, records of the actions of one Irene Adler or Irene Norton are to be taken with a grain of salt; regarding the depiction, she has to say: "'As a lover he would have placed himself in a false position'? *laughs* That's brazen, even for John.
