| Character Background: | Astrid grew up in a poor family with her identical twin, Anja. Their father is a fisherman, who is usually gone trying to earn a living on the Arctic seas. Their mother had a very hard time taking care of the home, and the two daughters were often left to themselves. They were always getting into trouble and out of it together. They did not have many friends, and developed a strong attachment to each other. They still do not part easily. Astrid sings and anything else with her sister in in their music duo, Techno Tvillingene (or the Norske Techno Twins). She began performing with her sister, and they recently signed a record deal, which is rumored to have been negotiated by Carmen Sandiego. They have had many early successes. |
